Abstract. Data from weather radars are commonly used in meteorology and hydrology, but they burdened with serious disturbances, especially due to the appearance of numerous non-meteorological echoes. For this reason, these data subject advanced quality control algorithms. The paper presents a significant improvement RADVOL-QC system made necessary by an increasing number various disturbances. New algorithms mainly addressed occurrence clutter caused wind turbines (DP.TURBINE algorithm) other terrain obstacles (DP.NMET as well forms echoes interaction radar beam RLAN signals (set SPIKE algorithms). individual based on employment polarimetric geometric analysis echo patterns. In described along examples their performance assessment effectiveness, finally whole discussed.
